Description
The 09 of Wands (or Nine of Wands) shows an injured man holding a staff for support and standing in front of eight other staffs. He appears to be patiently waiting for someone to come or something to occur.
This can be seen as a test of faith, whether it will come or not, he has to be patient and wait. Hence, we can interpret as an inner struggle while waiting, not knowing when or how it might come.
We can also extend to paranoia or anxiety, as he did not have sufficient rest and recovery before attempting to stand guard.
