The Lovers is numbered 6 in the Major Arcana.
The Lovers shows an angel giving a blessing over a couple, a man and a woman, and it represents a harmony or an alignment between man and woman, earth and heaven, conscious and unconscious.
The man (representing physical or conscious logic) is looking at the woman (representing emotions or the unconscious) who then looks at the angel (representing the spiritual or the divine) reaffirming a trinity, how all things can align for good to come.
The man and woman are naked which indicates an open vulnerability with each other, as what lovers in a relationship ideally can be.
